mw-sku-002282
Joenos Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 10 g, antioxidant for wine

Ascorbic acid, that is vitamin C, is a proven antioxidant in wine and juice making. It protects wine and grape juice against oxidation, preserves bouquet and aroma and prevents unwanted changes caused by oxygen. Wines that are especially sensitive to oxidation benefit from early treatment.

The order matters: set the free SO₂ to 40–50 mg/l before adding, because afterwards ascorbic acid makes the iodine test show more free SO₂, and later measurements are only possible in a laboratory. Ascorbic acid only works together with sulphur and does not replace it. This powder is food grade and produced in Germany.
