mw-sku-012149
Arauner Kitzinger Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) 6 g, aid for the fermentation start

Vitamin B1, also called thiamine or aneurin, is a nutrient for the yeast. During the vigorous main fermentation the yeast produces it itself in larger amounts, but in the initial fermentation phase it is often only scarcely available. A dose at the start therefore supports the fermentation start.

The sachet contains 6 g. The maximum is 0.6 mg thiamine per litre per treatment, i.e. 6 mg per 10 litres (15 mg per 25 litres); the pack's "6 g for around 1000 litres" would be ten times that for pure thiamine. This is how to dose: dissolve 0.5 g in 500 ml of cold water, add 6 ml of it per 10 litres (15 ml per 25 litres) together with the yeast and discard the rest; not together with potassium metabisulfite, because sulfite breaks down thiamine. The product comes from the Arauner Kitzinger range.

Contents: 6 g Vitamin B1 (thiamine) in a sachet

Enough for: a great many batches, no more than 6 mg thiamine per 10 litres

Use: dissolve 0.5 g in 500 ml of cold water, add 6 ml of it per 10 litres (15 ml per 25 litres) together with the yeast and discard the rest; not together with potassium metabisulfite, because sulfite breaks down thiamine

Brand: Arauner Kitzinger

Manufacturer's specifications:

Suitable for all wine types, mead and fruit wines

Storage: cool, dry and protected from light

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1087/2468/3090/files/SKU-012149_edca8dfa-f9f2-4cbe-a9f0-91285679ff34.jpg?v=1784802634
