What is in the Maischewerk-Weinbuch?
On 498 pages the book shows how to make wine, cider, juice, sparkling wine, vinegar and liqueur from your own fruit: the basics of must weight, acidity, fermentation and sulphur, recipes for fruit, berry and grape wines in two batch sizes (10 and 25 litres) with target values, help with wine faults from symptom to rescue, plus tables, a cellar calendar and a cellar log. When is the book published and when will it ship?
The book is published on 20 October 2026. Until then you can pre-order it. We ship pre-orders from 20 October 2026, in the order they were received; the delivery times in our shipping policy start on that day.
How much does the book cost?
Until 19 October 2026 inclusive, the pre-order price is €24.90; from 20 October 2026 the book costs €29.90 (prices for Germany incl. VAT; Austria and other EU countries €25.90, then €30.90). In Switzerland you see the price in francs.
Do discount codes apply to the book?
No. In Germany and Austria books have a fixed retail price (fixed book price law), so our discount codes do not apply to books.

Who wrote the book?
Christoph Demuth and Senad Brkic. They are the people behind Maischewerk, a mail-order business for wine, cider and vinegar making based in Aachen.
Is the book available as a PDF or e-book?
No, the book is only available in print: paperback, 17 × 22 cm, 498 pages, ISBN 978-3-00-089041-3.
I ordered the book together with other items. When will my order arrive?
Then we ship the whole order in one parcel from 20 October 2026. If you need the other items sooner, please order them separately.
Shipping and delivery times
Where do you deliver and what does shipping cost?
We ship from Aachen to Germany, the EU and Switzerland. Germany: €4.95 per order, free from an order value of €29.00. EU: by weight €7.49 (up to 0.5 kg), €10.99 (0.5 to 1 kg), €23.99 (up to 5 kg) or €29.99 (over 5 kg), free from €100.00. Switzerland: €9.99, €12.99, €24.99 or €30.99, free from CHF 120.00; import charges are paid by the recipient. All details are in our shipping policy.
How long does delivery take?
Germany 2–4 working days, other EU countries 3–7 working days, Switzerland 4–9 working days, from conclusion of the contract, or from receipt of payment for prepayment. If an item is only available later, for example as a pre-order, this is stated on the product page.
How is the book shipped?
Ordered on its own, the book is sent within Germany as a Deutsche Post Warensendung; delivery usually takes up to 4 working days. Together with other items we ship it as a parcel.
Withdrawal and returns
Can I withdraw from my order?
Yes. As a consumer you can withdraw within fourteen days without giving reasons; the period starts when you have received the last item. The easiest way is our form withdraw from contract or an e-mail to service@maischewerk.de. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. All details are in the withdrawal information.
