Joenos Yeast Nutrient, 10 Portion Sachets of 1 g Each

These portion sachets save you the weighing. The pack gives one sachet with 1 g of yeast nutrient for a 10 liter batch; we recommend 3 g per 10 liters, i.e. three sachets, which is the upper limit of the German guidelines for wine-like drinks. With ten sachets you can therefore supply just over 30 liters of must. For the second fermentation in the bottle, an extra 1 g per 10 liters is enough.

The nutrient, based on diammonium phosphate, provides the yeast with nitrogen and keeps the fermentation going, especially in nitrogen-poor fruit and honey batches. Add the contents of a sachet to the must at the start of fermentation.
