Arauner Kitzinger Yeast Nutrient, Value Pack 10 x 10 g

Without enough nitrogen, the yeast can neither build its cells nor ferment the sugar through cleanly; fermentation turns sluggish or stops altogether. Yeast nutrient provides that nitrogen and keeps the pure culture wine yeast active.

This value pack bundles ten portions of 10 g each, 100 g in total. Stir the nutrient into the must at the start of fermentation; the amount per batch is stated in the package instructions.

• Dosage according to the pack: 10 g for approx. 10 liters of must, juice or mash, top up if needed; we recommend 3 g per 10 litres (7.5 g per 25 litres), which is the upper limit of the German guidelines for wine-like drinks (30 g per 100 litres); for light apple wine 2 g is enough
