Citric acid is a pure product without additives that you use to acidify low-acid batches in a targeted way. Sufficient acidity gives juices, must, wine and mead freshness and structure. Beyond winemaking, it can also be used when making jam.
To use it, dose the acid as needed, depending on the measured acidity of your fruit, and dissolve it in water beforehand. Because it can be dosed flexibly, the compact 10 g pack is well suited for small, targeted corrections. For the exact amount and safety notes, refer to the package instructions. Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
