Gelatine is a classic fining agent for juices, musts and wines. It binds suspended solids and removes existing haze so your wine pours clear into the glass. The granulated form is easy to weigh and dissolve.
The dosage is economical: 5 to 10 g per 100 litres is usually sufficient, so the 10 g pack covers a batch of this size. After fining, the bound sediment settles at the bottom and you simply rack off the clear wine. The active ingredient is pure gelatine, so the product is not vegan. Details on use as per the package instructions.
