This test set bundles three agents that are needed again and again in winemaking, in small quantities for trying out. This lets you test the products on a small batch before buying larger containers.
It contains 10 ml each of lactic acid for acidifying, Mostklar V and Kieselsol for fining. Lactic acid raises the acidity; Mostklar V and Kieselsol work together to bind cloudy matter and let the batch turn clear. The exact dosage is on each pack.
- Contents: 10 ml each of lactic acid, Mostklar V and Kieselsol
- Suitable for: trying out on small batches
- Use: dose depending on the agent, according to the package instructions
- Brand: Joenos
Manufacturer's information (contained lactic acid 80%):
- According to the pack, 1.25 g of 80 % lactic acid raises the total acidity by 1 g/l. The correct figure is 1.5 g, i.e. 1.25 ml (total acidity expressed as tartaric acid); the pack probably confuses grams and millilitres.
